THE SUMMIT:

The Summit which coincides with the centenary Celebration of International Women’s Day, provides opportunity to take stock of African women’s contributions to the development of the continent and chart new paths for their engagement in the development process.
The aim is to sharpen the African Woman’s skills to enable her maximize the opportunities that are available to her. The summit will also examine the key roles of African Women in Nation-Building and come up with strategies for unleashing their potential for effective and sustained socio-economic development.

ORGANIZER:

The summit is being organized by the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), a membership-based, management training and business development organisation established in 1961.
The pioneer and pre-eminent management and leadership centre in Nigeria, a prime driver of professionalism, leadership and management values, the Institute has been involved with the development of women’s capacity in leadership over the past three decades.
