Course Fees
The scale of fees for a particular year is determined in advance. The Institute reserves the right
to revise fees without notice.
Payment
The fee for a course should be paid not later than two weeks before the course commences.
Fees do not normally cover accommodation and boarding, unless so specified in the course description.
Payments made four (4) weeks before a course will attract a discount of 5%.
CANCELLATIONS
The following condition will apply:
(a) If the cancellation of a confirmed reservation is made more than four weeks before a course starts,
the course fee is returned in full.
(b) If the cancellation is made four weeks or less but more than one week before a course starts, only half the
fee is refundable.
(c) If the cancellation is made a week or less before the course starts, the fee is liable to forfeiture.
(d) If no formal cancellation has been notified, but the nominee fails to report for the course, fee is liable
to forfeiture.
(e) Within the four weeks period preceding the start of a course, the Institute cannot transfer a reservation
to a later course since there is seldom sufficient time to arrange the attendance of a replacement and planned income is
therefore lost. Deletion of a reservation is regarded as a cancellation and the condition set out in the preceding
paragraphs will apply.
The Institute may, however, accept a substitute nominee from the organization concerned if he/she has comparable
experience and qualifications.
NIM Training Course Certificates are awarded at the end of each course. To qualify for a certificate, a trainee
must satisfy the in-house course requirements.
NOTE
Over-Subscription
In the case of over-subscription for any course, preference will be given to corporate subscribers’ nominees
and members of the Institute.
Industrial Training Fund (I.T.F.)
All NIM Courses are approved by I.T.F. and, therefore, qualify for 60% I.T.F. refund.
Additional Courses
The courses described herein represent the Institute’s basic programmes. Additional courses will be planned
in response to the needs of Nigerian Mangers and in continuation of our efforts towards professionalizing management.
We shall continue to announce and publicize such programmes whenever we develop them.
